What is MUN? Resource Center University of Essex

The University of Essex is one of the UK's leading universities, situated less than one hour north-east of London in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1964, the campus-based university is located on 200 acres of parkland. There are about 7000 full time students at the university, representing 135 different nationalities. The University of Essex is home to the outstanding Human Rights Centre, which has a worldwide reputation for its teaching and research. Many members of the academic team have extensive practical experience of international human rights work with organisations such as the United Nations and the Council of Europe. Due to a few reasons, MUNEX'09 is NOW POSTPONED to the end of the SPRING TERM and is now held from the 16th to 19th of April 2009.
